Failure

↑ Roofline Twist

The fascinating thing about failure in structures is that they aren't disordered. Rather, they are ordered by the laws of physics instead of the architect's sense of proportion and arrangement. Admittedly there are any number of artists today who are working with buildings succumbing to disuse and I am unsure what my unique take on the subject is. I simply enjoy drawing something which has the complexity of natural forms but with the rigidity of man-made objects. The buildings are like exotic plants but with planks instead of leaves.
